Every For Keeps film is built on three things. The look, the storytelling, and the length. Together they make the kind of film couples watch for generations.
The Format
Film and digital, together.
Real Super 8 film is the heart of every For Keeps wedding. Warm grain, soft motion, the feel of an actual home movie. We pair it with modern 4K digital so the full day is captured in clean, sharp detail. (MiniDV is also available for couples who want it.)
The Style
Documentary, not cinematic.
We film every speech, dance, vow and the full ceremony. We sit down with you and your guests for interviews throughout the day. In between we catch the little glances, the laughs between friends and family, the embraces, and the small details you spent months planning for. Sequential. Diegetic. Real.

Your final film is a 2 to 4 hour documentary, crafted to feel like a home movie you'll watch for generations. Not a 90 second highlight reel. A time capsule. (We also deliver short-form edits and social cuts for couples who want them.)
