Just Like Their Parents Had
Rachel & Duncan
A Super 8 documentary wedding film at [Venue Name], Decatur, Georgia.
WATCH THE FILM
Rachel and Duncan, one of our favorite weddings we've ever filmed.
Two hours of their real day. The interviews, the speeches, the full ceremony, and all the small in-between moments, kept exactly the way they felt. This is the film Rachel and Duncan can sit down and watch start to finish, like a real home movie.
The Couple
Lauren and Julia's wedding was full of warmth and easy joy, the kind of day that never needed staging. Their affection for each other carried the whole room, from a first look full of nerves to a dance floor that never emptied. We could not get enough of the small in between moments, and the laughter that runs all the way through this film.
Rachel & Duncan
their story
Just like their parents had.
Rachel and Duncan came to us with one of our favorite briefs we've ever received. They grew up watching a wedding video from another generation, the kind a family rewatches for decades, and they wanted the same thing for their own day. Not a highlight reel built around a music drop. A real film. The whole day, kept.
Their wedding was at [Venue Name] in Decatur, Georgia, [season or date]. [1-2 specific memories from the day, from Jake. The venue's feel, a ceremony moment, something a guest said in an interview.]
We shot the day on real Kodak Super 8 film and modern 4K digital. Super 8 carries the soft grain and warm tone for the moments that should feel like memory. The digital catches the rest in clean detail, so every speech, every vow, every interview, and every little exchange on the dance floor lives in the final film.
The result is a two hour documentary they can watch any time the day starts to feel like a blur. It's one of our favorite weddings we have ever filmed, and the film shows why.

You might be wondering
-
Soft grain, warm color, gentle motion. Real Kodak film carries a quality no digital filter can copy. For Rachel and Duncan, we used Super 8 for the moments that should feel like memory, and modern 4K digital for the rest, so the full story is preserved cleanly.
-
Super 8 covers the key emotional moments. The ceremony, the first dance, the golden hour. Digital covers the full day, every speech and interview included. The final film blends both into one continuous story.
-
We sit down with friends, wedding party, and family throughout the day and simply let them talk. No scripts, no prompts to perform. Their real voices become part of the film, the way Rachel and Duncan's guests did.
-
[3-4 sentences from Jake about the venue and what filming there was like.]
